Hi,
I'm Dave Kaufman and have been on the Siouan list for about the past year.
I just graduated with my MA in Linguistics from San Jose State and am now
applying to PhD programs. I'm currently applying to three: UC Santa
Barbara, U of Colorado, and U of Chicago. After your email, I'm wondering
if I should also be applying to U of Kansas. I would like to study a Native
American language, perhaps Ho-Chunk. I've spoken with people at U of
Chicago about this.
