Thank you for the explaination.
My friends were right when they said ka = action.
Ka = force.

Kahomni is the northern version of the Rabbit Dance.
The only difference is the dancers go forward only.
They don't go forward two steps and back one as in the Rabbit Dance.
They also have a caller - Ladies forward, kahomni (cirle),etc.
Just like a square dance.
