Sorry for the confusion.  I'm talking about the 3rd person proximate non-continuative verb ending.  The only declarative marker I mentioned was Kaw feminine -(y)e (usually just [e] ).  This would be the -abi of Omaha -abiama I assume.

Bob, could you clarify this statement?  I don't know of any such male
(declarative??) form as -abi in Omaha-Ponka.
