Aho,

I never had the opportunity to meet Tom in person but he was always 
generous in sharing his thoughts and resources with me through the years.

I did not know his background and relationships with the Ponca. Reading 
his obituary gave me pause as aspects of it seem to mirror my own 
experiences as an adopt kid.

Tom will be sorely missed.
