I am forwarding this announcement posted on the CoLang 2012 conference
website in case some of us do not regularly check out that site.

Siouan and Caddoan Languages Conference (14 – 17 June 2012)
We are pleased to announce that CoLang 2012 will be preceded by a
linguistics conference, to be held at the University of Kansas, 14 – 17
June 2012. The Siouan and Caddoan Languages Conference is for anyone
interested in the languages of the Siouan and Caddoan linguistic families.
Paper submissions related to Siouan and Caddoan languages are encouraged.
Registration is required to attend the conference or present a paper; a
small fee (ca. $10 – $20) covers refreshments during the conference.
Siouan/Caddoan conference participants are welcome to also register and
stay for CoLang; CoLang participants are welcome to register and arrive
early for the Siouan/Caddoan conference.
Program and registration details will appear here as they become
available.

Participants in CoLang are not automatically enrolled in the Siouan
Conference, and vice-versa.
The registration fee for this conference is ca. $15 (subject to change);
this will be payable to the organizers, Bob Rankin and David Kaufman,
details TBA.
NB: The conference fee is separate from CoLang and cannot be paid for on
the CoLang registration site.

To book on-campus housing for the Siouan/Caddoan conference, please fill
out a CoLang registration form: TBA here. On-campus housing during 13 – 17
June 2012 does not include meals
