Deaf Students

Hello everyone!

    I am a pre-service teacher preparing to do my student teaching.  I
was wondering if anyone has any information and/or experiences with a
deaf student in the general education classroom.
     I would appreciate any information since by background knowledge in
this area is scarce.  Thank you in advance for any help!
