 Subject: SignStream - software release


 We are pleased to announce the release of SignStream, a database tool
 for analysis of linguistic data captured on video. SignStream runs on
 MacOS computers running system 7.1 or later and QuickTime 2.1 or
 later. Although SignStream is being designed specifically for working
 with data from American Sign Language, the program may be used with
 any kind of language data captured on video.

 SignStream is available (for non-commercial use) to students,
 educators, and researchers on a non-profit basis.  There is also a new
