The Amsterdam Manifest

The broad content of the manifesto makes sense, of course (like you need
me to tell you that!). A couple of bit-picky questions come to mind:

1. Don't manifestos usually have signatories?
2. Why BSL? Why not, say, DGS or Japanese SL? Since I am/was too poor to
   make it to Amsterdam, I'd love to hear the rationale.
