Some more information on the Zagreb conference next May, taken from the
flier I have:

Symposium location:

Hotel Panorama, Zagreb

Symposium languages:

Croat, English, Croatian SL

Thematic areas:

- Sign language linguistics
- Deaf culture, history and human rights
- Education of deaf children and youth
- Interpreting services and training
- Mental health, counseling and psychotherapy
- Experiences and needs of the deaf-blind

Call for papers:

Submissions for 20 minute presentations, posters, workshops and round tables
are due December 1, 2000.

Abstracts:

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words in length.
Also include:
- Name of author
- Affiliation
- Address
- E-mail
- Phone and fax numbers

Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail (slsymposium at ffdi.hr with 'Abstract'
in the subject line) or sent by regular mail to the address on the web site
(www.ffdi.hr/slsymposium).

Registration:

The registration fee is 100 DEM (or equivalent in Croatian currency).
After the registration deadline the fee will be 130 DEM.

Fee will include the use of symposium materials, opening reception and
coffee breaks.

October 1, 2000 - preregistration

December 1, 2000 - abstracts submission

February 1, 2001 - registration
