Spring Quarter Night class:
Tuesday/Thursday 6-8:10 p.m.
April 3 to June 23, 2000
Excellent opportunity with competitive salary based on education and accredited teaching experience.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years related occupational experience OR
Associate Arts degree and six years related
occupational experience
Knowledge: American Sign Language
Ability: Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic,
socio-economic, cultural, disability and ethnic
backgrounds of community college students
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in sign language studies, deaf studies,
or a related field with knowledge of and experience in
teaching American Sign Language
Bachelor's degree and two years experience teaching
college level American Sign Language
Training or experience with "Signing Naturally"
curriculum
