Position Qualifications:  Requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is preferred) in English, Deaf Education,
or a related field.  Prefer teaching experience in English at the secondary or post secondary level.
Demonstrated ability to utilize all forms of communication including ASL used by Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
Demonstrated ability to utilize computer technology and other multimedia in the classroom.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and as a team member.
Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.

Hours:  M-F 8am-5pm.  Salary for a full-time eleven month contract $30,600 plus benefits.
