Listowner & Maritime SL

Just a quick response to this posting. As far as I know, MSL has never been
considered a form of ASL.

Here is a quote from Clifton F. Carbin's 1996 "Deaf Heritage In Canada" p.
319 concerning the use of MSL:

"... There are also a small number of users of what is called Maritime Sign
Language. MSL is used primarily by older deaf people in certain Nova Scotian
communities; it, too has never been formally researched and is quickly
becoming extinct."
