Semantics: SUDDENLY

A friend asked me about the ASL sign frequently glossed as SUDDENLY (a
variation of the sign WRONG) ... I know the connotation includes "unexpected" but
does it also include a "negative" aspect ... as in "something unexpected AND
bad" occurred?
