interjections

Hi Horst
In my dissertation (2000) I describe some "discourse markers" that the 4 deaf mothers in my research use with their deaf and hearing children. 
These were:  INDEX to the child meaning  you got it! or that's right
                  1-shape (upright) meaning: watch-it, or pay-attention
                  
Is that the kind of thing you mean?
