please note the following updates for the SIGN5 conference:
 
Submission deadline for abstracts
 
Due to a request from our partners in Turkey, the abstract submission deadline has been extended to 31 May 2011. Therefore, the relevant dates are now:
 

Submission of abstracts: 31 May 2011 (NEW EXTENDED DEADLINE)
Notification of acceptance: 15 June 2011
Deadline for early bird registration: 30 June 2011
Deadline for fee waiver applications: 30 June 2011
Deadline for registration: 01 October 2011
The conference website has been updated with these new dates.
Fee waiver applications:
An application form for fee waiver applications has been posted on the conference website; it can be downloaded and sent to sign5 at uclan.ac.uk
Conference websites:
The conference website at http://www.uclan.ac.uk/schools/journalism_media_communication/islands/sign5.php has information in English and International Sign. The website at http://sign5.gazi.edu.tr has information in Turkish and Turkish Sign Language. Please note that the new deadlines have NOT been updated on the videos.
