Available Postdoctoral Research Fellow  Position

School of Psychology, Georgia Institute of  Technology
Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.

Professor Jenny Singleton invites  applications to Georgia Institute of 
Technology, School of Psychology, for a  postdoctoral research fellow 
(one-year, with a possible renewal for a second  year) beginning in September 2011 
(start date may be negotiable).   Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in 
Psychology, Educational Psychology,  Linguistics or a related field by the 
start date.  The Postdoctoral  Research Fellow will work with Dr. Singleton on 
her project investigating the  development of visual attention among deaf 
infants and infants exposed to  American Sign Language.  Knowledge of ASL is 
preferred, fluency in  English is required.  Annual salary is $50,000 and 
includes health,  vision, and dental benefits as offered through Georgia 
Institute of  Technology. The Fellow will also receive $1500 per year for 
conference travel  support.

Preferred application deadline: May 15, 2011.  The  position will remain 
open until filled.
