I'm still looking for more current or former officers and chairs of ASLTA,
CIT, RID to take the research surveys - need more to finish data collection!

I will distribute surveys for my dissertation research study on *Deaf
Leaders: The Intersections of Deaf Culture, Leadership, and Professional
Associations*. Links to online surveys will be available. This study is
being conducted as part of the requirements for earning a Ph.D. at Union
Institute & University in Cincinnati, Ohio.



My objective is to find out what makes you a *leader*! I want to find out
whether a difference exists between Deaf and hearing leader personalities in
professional associations due to certain factors. To find the answers, I
will use a demographic survey and two personality surveys to be given
online. Everything will be handled confidentially and anonymously. User IDs
(number codes) will be assigned to all completed surveys. All your responses
will be confidential, and no one will be able to distinguish your responses
from any other participants’ responses. Your total time commitment with this
study may be from 60 to 90 minutes.

Are you between the ages of 18 and 80?

Are you deaf, hard of hearing, or hearing?

Are you actively involved in ASLTA, RID, CIT, or its chapters?

Are you or were you ever an elected officer or appointed chairperson for one
of these organizations?
