Applications are invited for a full time, tenure track position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences at Boston University. Qualifications include an earned doctorate with a specialty in language acquisition and strong interest in teaching and research. Clinical certification is preferred but not required. Priority will be given to candidates with a successful record of strong potential for obtaining external support for their research programs.
The Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences department offers a B.S. degree program, an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and research doctorates. There are on-site speech-language pathology clinics plus affiliated clinics at the Boston University Medical Campus. In addition, the Boston area includes many highly regarded medical and educational institutions and numerous possibilities for collaborative and interdisciplinary activities.
