[Soundsymbolism] Sound symbolism and historical linguistics

For my future PhD project, I want to conduct research on how sound symbolism affects language change. I wish to do my PhD somewhere in Europe. Is there any research you know who would be interested in funding a PhD student doing research on sound symbolism and historical linguistics?
