Call for Papers, Posters, and Organized Sessions



*Deadline for Organized Session Proposals:  July 1, 2015*

*Deadline for abstracts: August 1, 2015*





The annual winter meeting of SSILA will be held jointly with the annual
meeting of the Linguistic Society of America in Washington, DC, at the
Marriott Marquis, January 7-10, 2016. Information about the hotel and
location can be found at the LSA website (www.lsadc.org).



*Call for Papers*

SSILA welcomes abstracts for papers, posters, and organized sessions that
present original research focusing on the linguistic study of the
indigenous languages of the Americas.

*Abstract Submission*



The *deadline* for receipt of all abstracts and session proposals is
midnight (the end of the day) *August 1st. *Organized session proposals are
due by *July 1*.  Abstracts may be submitted in English, Spanish or
Portuguese.



*New or Renewing members:  *If you are joining SSILA or need to renew your
membership, we ask that you prepare your abstract(s) while we work on
resolving a problem with the website and new membership applications.  We
will keep you notified of our progress and will let you know when
new/renewing memberships and submissions can be processed.



*Members:*  The full call for papers, including detailed information on
abstract and session proposal submissions and instructions on the use of
EasyChair, is provided at the SSILA website (www.ssila.org).   Please
login, go to the Meetings tab, and follow the instructions for SSILA 2016.
