program for abandoned Deaf children?

Dear James,

How terrible that your funding has dried up!!  How much do you need??
 Can't the Sign Writing Group here help?

It is even more terrible that there is a need for such a program.  Why are
these children abandoned? Because they are Deaf? Or are there many children
abandoned in Nicaragua??

How many children do you look after? What is their age? Boys/girls ratio?
 Do they have other problems?

What can we do if we wanted to foster one of these children?  We are living
in Australia.
