Hello Jerry and Everyone!
This is great news about Windows XP...if it can run DOS we are very fortunate!

Windows XP also has cd-copying characteristics like the Macintosh. I
learned that today, with Tech Support for installation software from
InstallShield - Windows XP accepts files transferred from cds in a
more universal fashion, like the Mac, where the older versions of
Windows locks files when they are copied over to disk from cds...so
if all of Windows were like XP, we wouldn't need the installation
software for SignBank - but of course, that is not the way life
is....so we do have to do installation software, and the
InstallShield is working well for us....On the Mac, we gave up on the
very expensive VISE program - too much money and meanwhile the Mac
doesn't have any locking problems anyway...only Windows before XP,
and InstallShield can "unlock" those for us...thank goodness!
