Dear SW List Members:
Thanks to everyone on the List for providing the translations. The newly posted SignBank now includes the following Navigation Languages:
Note 1: The Swedish and Danish have some Norwegian in them, but I can make those minor changes at a later time. Danes and Swedes can read Norwegian (and all the other languages too, for that matter - ha) !
Note 2: The Arabic is complete in SignBank 8, in SymbolBank and in the Navigation Panel. I hope that will be a pleasure for those who use SignBank in Egypt and Saudi Arabia!
I could not fit the Arabic under the Editor icons without making the Arabic very tiny. It became un-readable. There was "not enough space" to fit it in...so the Editor icons are still in English. The Editor is for advanced users anyway...so the icons where children use SignBank are in Arabic, thank goodness!
Note 3: The Japanese is not finished, and I ran out of room once again...we need to reduce the Japanese to fit, and that is a lot of work, so for now, let's use what we have, and then if there are some Japanese or Chinese SignBank users in the future, we can make a new attempt to reduce the script to make Japanese and Chinese icons...
So I will not work on any more spoken languages. It is time to write Sign Languages...
