Dear SW List and Charles!
I have not seen your diagram so it is not possible to be sure I 
understand you...Did you attach a GIF? I remember a SGN file...I guess 
you want me to look at that and create the GIF for you?

But judging by your words below...the answer is no...a gap and a 
horizontal line cannot be blended at all...they are two separate 
symbols and have two separate meanings...

So in awhile I will try to find your diagram to see what you are 
referring to... Val ;-)
