Researching Symbols continued...

I developed a specific terminology used in SymbolBank, to give the
symbols standardized names:

1. Straight...no joints bent
2. Bent or Hook....bend at middle joint only
3. Cup or Circle....a curve that bends at both middle and knuckle joints
4. Angle or Hinge...bend at knuckle joint only

Take a look at the terminology of the handshapes in the attached GIF.
The first one is called BENT because the bend is only from the middle
joints. The second diagram below it, is called CUP, because the fingers
are bending in a curve, from both the middle and knuckle joints. The
thumb is side in the first one, and forward in the second one...
