Here in the US, the first person to write a dissertation specifically
on studying the use of SignWriting in the classroom is Dr. Cecilia
Flood. Her dissertation should be available to you in its entirety, if
you contact Cecilia and pay for the costs of her printing and shipping
it to you. She will be back to work in August. We have one chapter from
her thesis on the web. I would suggest downloading PDF documents 67, 68
and 69...That will give you one of her chapters plus a summary of
projects around the world, and a sample of Deaf children writing
SignWriting. To access the PDF Library, go to www.SignWriting.org, then
click on Library, and then choose PDF Library:
