COLOMBIA: Question Tortoise sign

Unfortunately, Ingvild, the handshape you draw as a thumb looks like the
extended 3rd finger.  I, personally, would prefer to have a shortened thumb
in that position myself, but the system, as presently used, doesn't allow
for it.   I would prefer the back of the hand to be a claw hand, as you have
it as well.

Any suggestions out there people?

You collapse the hands together as they really are.  I think people were
trying to draw the hands slightly apart to be able to see them.
