Dear SW List, Daniel, Charles, Stefan and Bill!
Thanks all of you, for your suggestions. I am not changing any symbols 
right now, I assure you! And thanks for your idea about the arc, Bill 
and Charles...You are right that would be easier to write than the 
knuckles...Unfortunately that symbol with the arc means something else 
in DanceWriting, but I suppose I could throw it out of 
DanceWriting...but you can see why I must go on with other work 
now...we can go round and round and I will never get to finishing 
SignBank and SymbolBank...but I will remember your input for later - 
many thanks once again...Val ;-)
