SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: SignWriting in SVG?

Of course, once we have SVG, we ought to be able to convert to postscript,
METAPOST, or anything else that strikes our fancy. in theory, material
written in SWML + judicially-applied XSL templates should give us
documents in everything from XHTML to PDF...

.... which makes my heart go pitter-pat :-)
