SignWriting List
December 4, 2004
Thank you, Stephen, for explaining this.
Anny, we are not ready to create a program that runs on your desktop
that is easy to setup. There is a way, as Stephen explains, if you know
how to use Apache on the Mac, but I do not know how to do that
myself...Perhaps in 2005! I need to complete some technical work on the
IMWA first, before we want to focus on making a standalone program...
In the meantime, be sure to use Firefox or Safari as your web browser
when using SignMaker on the web.
Are there schools or organizations in your area that have a fast
connection to the internet? Maybe they would let you use their
computer, to save you money...
No other solutions at the moment...If anyone knows of any, please tell
us!!
Val ;-)
