LESSONS in SignSpellings...
There are several ways to write this sign, following the SignSpelling
Guidelines. In the sign for BELGIUM, the handshape is close to the
cheek. The handshape needs to be written close to the cheek too, as it
looks in real life. This helps the reader see the sign as a unit. The
Contact Star is not as important as the handshape itself...In fact,
some people choose not to write the Contact Star at all, as in
SignSpelling number 2, in the attached diagram...continued next
