Aha! The last several times I checked, that "Complete Text" link to PDF
manual was not live, or I definitely would have started there (and will
now).

Hello Everyone and Stuart and Barbara!
I am sure Stuart's suggestion is an excellent one...reading documents
is one way to learn SignWriting!
One boring method is to download the complete textbook in PDF on the
web and read the book cover to cover on your computer screen! You can
print out some pages that you need...the PDF is large however...
