Hi! I downloaded the software and played with it a little. It is an
impressive piece of software, Antonio. It is clear you have put a lot of
time and thought into it. I like it. I have a friend who wanted
something like this but he only has Mac OS X. I noticed you used
wXWindows to compile it. Can it be ported to X11 so that Mac OS X and
Linux and other systems that can use X11 can use your software? Just
wondering.
I figured out how to change the words from Portuguese to English for the
toolbar tips. I also figured out how to print and how to cut and paste
to another program as a graphic without going through a screen print.
Very helpful for direct copy and paste! I have it installed on a
different computer than this one, so I will have to figure out how to
transfer to the screen shots to this PC so I can email the instructions
I figured out.
One other interesting feature is the right mouse button. I haven't had
a chance to explore the options on that menu, but it looks like there
are more features there.
Antonio, two questions though ...
1) Is it possible to change the paper type within the program or will it
reformat the page when I change paper type within my print driver? I
noticed it was for non-US paper types. I know that works best for those
outside the US. Being the odd birds here :-D, how do we set the printing
to US paper?
2) Is there a way to import existing SGN documents to SW-Edit format?
Thanks for letting us use it in beta form. It looks like it will be a
help already.
