Hi Valerie,

thanks for your kind feedback - well yes I love to write all different kinds
of movements in SW and each time I decide, which direction would be the
best ---

If you are interested in a true DEAF-poetic - SL piece - look at the
attached gif.

In one of my workshops DEAF participants performed this - and I made notes
by hand - later on at home I put a lot time and energy into creating this
graphic

- as you can see the signing- performance goes from left !!!! to right!!

It is a story of a golf-player - or the ball??

At first the player is doing the hit with the index-finger that is also used
in "G" as the first letter in the word "Golf"
Then you see the ball flying, - the O-Hand represents the ball as well as
the "O" in Golf

Next you see the ball hopping down and down - rolling to the left and over
sudden it falls into the whole (o - hand changes abruptly to - L hand -
representing falling down but "L" like in goLf as well.

In the end you see the F-Hand " waving" back and forth at the wrist - this
stands for the flag at the whole but for the "F" in the word golF as well.

Underneath - what is this - well you can read it within the first 5 minutes
in my seminars - I call it "blackboard -writing" -
Imagine like writing the letters in the air from your point of view - facing
the audience - therefore from left to right. Movements on the
"window-cleaner-level" (=vertical lane) are represented by doubled - stemmed
arrows. Writing letter by letter the mouth shows specific "Mundbilder" which
are written accordingly to my standardization.

Movements to the right and left (horizontal) are represented by
single-stemmed arrows. But you could choose double-stemmed arrows as well in
this case since the movement on both levels would be the same!

Hope you like it -- I often see smiles on the faces of my workshop -
participants. Yes - they can understand these principles within seconds -
and L.I.F.E - ( greetings to Tini & Henk)

Stefan;-)))

Hello Stefan!
This is absolutely charming....I love it! I have printed it, and it is
on my wall...

It reminds me of an earlier message I wrote today about writing Deaf
poetry in circles and diagonals...It becomes art...and freedom of
expression is so important...
