I've thought about making the dictionary available for multiple sign
languages but decided against it. First, the mission of PUDL is to support
deaf literacy in Pittsburgh, who use ASL. Second, the space requirements
could get very large and expensive.

Why not simply put a field for sign language and then signs can be
naturally segregated by sign language? Then the user can choose which
sign language they are looking at for the signs.
