Hello Mo and Everyone!
Thanks for this interesting question. And yes, there is a way to handle
them, and I will explain, but a question first...

What kind of project are you doing? Are you interested in general
Movement Writing? or signed languages specifically?

For example...do you want to hear about strange problems when writing
the tongue sticking out while a person is standing on his head?

or do you want to write rare signs in a rare signed
language?...smile...like writing a unique signed language on a South
Pacific island that I wrote back in 1974/75? smile....

I have some stories to share!
