Hi Sandy,

Open the Sign Puddle dictionary. Select the Dictionary Editors icon on the
left. It is directly under the Sign Maker icon.

In the Search for Sign edit box, enter "Wales". Press Search. You will see
Wales and Wales_2. Next to Wales_2, you will notice the Load button. This
button can load the sign into Sign Maker. Any sign with the load button
will never need to be reentered again: it has a build file and is written in
the IMWA. Also, it will be included in the SWML-S output for the SignPuddle
dictionary, so other software should eventually be able to use it without
having to reenter it.

Since you were invited to be an editor for the sgn-GB dictionary, you have a
username and password. On the Dictionary Editor screen, scroll down to the
bottom, past the flags. You will notice the area where you can enter the
user and password. Login. (case sensitive)

Now you can rename and delete signs.

Let me know if you have any problems.
-Stephen

Subject: [sw-l] SignPuddle

Hi Folks!

I had a go at updating one of the old signs in the BSL SignPuddle dictionary
and all seems in order except I now have signs called "Wales" and "Wales_2".

How do I delete the older sign and rename the new one to "Wales"?

I chose this sign first because I found a much better way to spell it - so
don't be surprised at how different the two are!

Am I right in thinking that all the signs in the dictianary should now be
re-entered using SignMaker? SignMaker is mature enough now, isn't it? I
woon't have to go re-entering all the signs again in the future, will I?

Sabdy
