[sw-l] SignMail Program Questions

To use the SW Email, you need to use the exact name. It is mostly case
sensitive, especially if there are capitol letters in the middle of the
gloss.

If you want to be able to use Anny, rather than the full dictionary entry
name, you have two options. Rename the sign, or load the sign into
SignMaker and add to the dictionary with the new name.

SignWriting List

Dear SW List, and Anny -
Thanks for this message. I am sharing it with the SW List, since these
are questions that might help others too...

Anny sent her first SignWriting email, with the SignMail program, using
the signs from her new Swiss-French dictionary on SignPuddle! Congrats,
Anny!

Here is Anny's question to me....

Anny - Please see the attached diagram. Notice how I typed hello_2, to
get the second hello sign in the ASL dictionary. I do not know how else
to do it...I always type the exact name of the entry in the
dictionary....

But, Stephen can perhaps answer this question better than I can -
Please see attached -
