Yes. That is correct. That rule started back in the 1970's...so this is
an old and established rule, but I admit that our modern documentation
has not focused on that, partly because years later, people started
using the double curve alternating symbols and all of a sudden that
rule was not as urgent...but the rule made it possible to read
alternating movement correclty, without the extra alternating
symbol...So SignWriting is not really read from left to right, within a
sign...it is read from the center and then out in all
directions...following the arrows to their ending positions. In this
case though, the hands start the movement, and the arrows in the center
are read first, and the arrows on the outside are read second...Val ;-)
