SignWriting List
September 2, 2004
Dear SW List Members:
I am sooo disappointed that our List will be down once again, but no
one can control the weather! The hurricane season in Florida has been a
bad one...
What will I be doing until our List is working again? I am finishing a
new version of SignBank that is based on the new numbers of the IMWA,
so hopefully by the time our List is up and running again, you will be
able to download the new SignBank...Plus I am improving the
SignSpellings Guideline manual to fit with the IMWA. Some of the
Location Symbols improved which in turn has had a positive influence on
SignSpellings, but it requires changes to the manual.
When our List returns, I hope to start teaching a series of new lessons
in SignWriting to the SignWriting List....I look forward to more
communication with all of you -
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone, and let us pray that the hurricane
does not damage Florida too much....
Many blessings, and keep safe....
Val ;-)
