[sw-l] Swiss-French SignPuddle dictionary

Hi Anny,

Sign Puddle would be a great place to enter your Swiss French dictionary.

The new Sign Maker is fun to use and requires no special software (other
than Javascript).

Sign Puddle uses the IMWA, so you have access to all of the symbols. I will
create an export utility to export the entire dictionary into SWML-S. When
future applications are developed that use the IMWA, you will have a
dictionary ready to go without having to worry about conversions between
symbol sets.

And you can share your dictionary online and through email.

If you want to give it a try, I have created a new Sign Puddle:
http://signbank.org/signpuddle/sgn-CH-fr

I think I have named it correctly. If not, let me know. Val can add a link
on the main Sign Puddle page, if you want.

SignPuddle does have several limitations, but it is getting better.

For your consideration,
-Stephen Slevinski

Dear Valerie

I'm thinking of creating a dictionnary for swiss french sign
language... reading your message... I'm wondering if I should keep
writing the different sign in SignWriter Dos (like I've been doing for
now)... or if it would be better to enter them directly into SignPuddle
using SignMaker ? If so... what should I do to create a swiss french
dictionnary into SignPuddle ?
Thanks to let me know!

Anny
