Oh. I don't care what we call it. I will leave that to you. It would be
great if we could just call it the IMWA or the sss2004, and just insert
symbols when we need it. I was just trying to explain why I hadn't done
all 27,000 symbols or so yet...that's all...I was using version 2.0 as
a way to explain to Charles and others, that it wasn't finished
yet...so from a programming point of view I would prefer no version
numbers at all...or 1.1 would be fine too...whatever you decide. I
could give you new symbols haphazardly too, and just insert it, and
then no new version numbers at all..we have talked about this so many
times before and nothing has changed...

That's fine.

I haven't slept in a long time, and it is clear that my messages have
made people confused today - I am really sorry and just ignore the
messages about version numbers. Mainly I just want people to know that
we can insert new symbols and no one will be deprived of symbols they
need in the long run...

You are so fantastic and so flexible, and also understanding! Thanks
everyone......and to summarize - I like the idea of giving you new
symbols as they come up, if you can stand that...what I really hope, is
that I can take the months of November and December and do all the
dancewriting and mimewriting too...that way the IMWA really will be the
sss2004...smile...so let us hope that we can do that.

meanwhile, I will leave it to you as to how you want to do the patches
or versions...tell me what you decide so I will use the right
terminolgy in the future.....

I submitted a grant yesterday, Stephen, to the Dr. Seuss Foundation,
and I hope they will give us a little funding! I focused on your
SignMail program, explaining that we hope that Deaf children may
benefit from writing email in both signs and words...that SignMail
might encourage children to learn to read and write...we will keep our
fingers crossed...

I am going to take a walk around the block...anyone want to join me?
smile...I wish you could!!

Val ;-)
