Augusto & others

Take a look at these two signs. They both show the same movement but I believe the second "mundo_2" is the clearer of the two in writing. The left hand is below the right hand. One could write it edge on also, but this particular orientation is neutral, and I think much clearer. Finger trills appear in a whole bunch of signs in LIBRAS (Brazilian Sign Language), so it is an exciting development to show them properly.

mundo mundo_2

Showing the palm facing with the location symbol helps to place the hands in space. As soon as I looked at Augusto's illustration (in motion), I realized what needed to be fixed. The handshapes the orientations were correct, but for ease of reading, I think mundo_2 is the clearer.

Valerie and others, please give feedback.

Charles

The movement is right, my palm facings are backwards. I will have to reload, yet again. The white hand should be on the bottom, the dark hand on the top. Your signing showing that sign shows the right orientation. That's EXCELLENT.

Muito obrigado, augusto.
