The Hinge arrows show movement from the knuckle joint, like a hinge on
a door.

1. Close-Close. Two arrows side by side but not touching each other.
This gives emphasis on the two closings, and the opening between them
is ignored. It is uneven.

2. Close-Open-Close. When the arrows are connected it means that all
directions of movement are equal in length...The opening is as
important as the closing...

I chose Close-Close for this sign for Papa. Do you agree, Kathleen and
Sara? If not, you can change it to Close-Open-Close...since you know
your language...it is best you make that decision...
