Dear Sara and Kathleen

actually... none of the french speaking part of Switzerland's school
for the deaf (Geneva /Lausanne / Fribourg) use SW in their class. Siv
Fosshaug, does use SW in her class in Basel ... it's the first
bilingual class in the german part of Switzerland!!! Siv is also the
person with whom I did introduce SW here... we organised the first
workshop in spetember last year....
The workshop was for the deaf sign language teachers and for sign
language interpreters.... before that we had a one day introduction
course into Fribourg's school of the deaf... but everything is quite
new... professionnals get use to using SW... but are not quite ready to
introduce it with the kids!!

Maybe the best thing would be to visit Siv... lets's send her an
e-mail.... sfosshaug at bluewin.ch
and see how hollydays are there!

Hope it helps!!

Take care!

Anny
