[sw-l] Reading Diacritics in SignMail program...

Lucy, Stephen and Everyone..
The world types differently...every spoken language keyboard is
different around the world. Even the same language, such as German, is
typed differently in Germany, than in German-speaking Switzerland, for
example...
So I changed my keyboard over to Polish, and then went into the
International Name Signs Sign Puddle on the web to test it...Take a
look....see the first sign saved there that looks like the sign for
Germany...I gave it a test name, using the Polish keyboard, and typing
a lot of symbols that have diacritics, and only some of them showed up
in the name

So Stephen, there has to be an international solution that will work
across all keyboards...that was what Signuno was trying to explain to
us before...right now our Sign Puddles were clearly made on a US
keyboard and are only working consistently when we are accessing the
diacritics from a US keyboard...
In the attached, I had entered symbols where the dashes are...those
were alphabetic characters with diacritics, entered from a Polish
keyboard...but they showed up as dashes on our server...but one showed
up at least -
