Hello Stephen,

I tried out the Template button - but all I got was a little broken picture
..
any idea?

Stefan ;-)

I think that it would be a good idea to do all he graphics again on this new
SignMaker - basis --

Betreff: [sw-l] What to do with graphic only signs in ASL and DGS

Hi List,

This only applies to the ASL (sgn-US0 and DGS (sgn-DE) dictionaries.

These two SignPuddle dictionaries have many signs that are graphic only.
These dictionaries do not know the symbols that make up every sign. This is
causing problems. We have two solutions.

1) Delete all graphic only signs and continue building.

2) Recreate all the signs that are graphic only.

I have a new tool that may make option 2 easier. On the Dictionary Editors
screen, I have added a new Template button for graphic only signs. Pressing
the Template button will start SignMaker with the graphic only sign
grayed-out in the center of the SignBox. I'm hoping that this will make it
easier to rebuild existing graphic only signs. The only problem is finding
the symbols in SignMaker.

So take a look, and let's decide what to do.

-Stephen

Hi Stephen,

thank you very much!

Just a short question there are a couple of signs that do not show up if I
search for them - but just the name - hm -

Is this s.th that is another reason or is it connected to the type of the
signs (created with Sign Puddle - or as graphic, o created at a special date
?? )

Stefan ;-)

The other features are working fine! I am busy to send sw-emails - ;-)))

Hi Anny, Stefan, and List,

I have fixed the Dictionary Editors screen in SignPuddle.

The login has been fixed; You can now rename and delete signs, if you have a
username and password.

Hi Anny,

You are right. There is a problem with the dictionary editors screen.
Stefan is having the same problem.

Our move to the new server has had a few glitches. We'll get it fixed soon.

I did log in (my user's name and the code)... and the delete and rename
button (which usually appeared when I did that) didn't show up... It
was working properly untill a few days ago... (I just tried again on
the web... still the same!! ) can you check please!

I use it all the time... but something has changed till you added the
new "search function"...
