Hi all -

this discussion reminds me very much of what we discussed some years ago -
smile - so an excellent opportunity to go back to the wonderful E-lessons
and the messages from the sw-list forum in order to find out what people
tried to find out about rotation-movements, boxing-gloves, painted thumb or
baby-finger, tube -stripes --- ;-)

Some of the attachments are not available any more (for download) - some are
...

All in all it is an interesting documentation of how intense newcomers
discussed these spelling-issues and tried to understand --

October 26, 1999 - Valerie Sutton answered my question about rotation
movements ... in her Message # 2125

But we had a intense discussion on the list ;-))

If you are interested go to July 7th 2000 - to begin with ....

Or push the "search-button" on the SignWriting.Org - Website and search for
something like "axial rotation"

Stefan ;-))

Ha! Terrific. While I am finishing the new SignWriting in Germany web
pages (I am doing a completely new up-to-date section on the web),
maybe Thierry can try to teach everyone what I showed you...If you
put your hand in a can of black paint, your hand draws in the
air...that is how the arrows are painted in space...and these
rotation arrows are like curved arrows...you can curve towards the
front wall, or curve towards your chest...When a rotation is done,
the curve is either painted by the THUMB or the BABY FINGER...

Thierry...try to explain that better...good way for us to learn
together!

Talk to you all tomorrow...Sunday!

Val ;-)
