Thank you, Steve, Stuart and Yvon for your excellent information!

Ingvild asked me how to create PDF documents in PageMaker, on Windows  
XP...The Export feature on PageMaker does not always work...so I  
explained that on the Macintosh, we can print to PDF automatically  
from any program...I had the misunderstanding that Windows XP had  
that wonderful built-in feature as well...not just for specific  
programs..but in the operating system itself...

So, Ingvild, Steve's information looks promising...

On Windows XP, download this program and install it. It will give you  
a way to print to PDF quickly:

PDFCreator

I hope this works! Can you tell us, if it solves the problem on  
PageMaker?

I print email messages...everything ...in PDF daily...on the Mac...it  
has become as easy as typing or turning on your computer ;-) And it  
provides a paperless-office...which is great...
