Make PDF button in Printer Driver on Windows XP?

Dear SW List Members -
Here is the printer driver on Mac OS X that allows anyone to create a  
PDF file without owning Acrobat...Is there a similar button on  
Windows XP printer driver? When you go to print a file, can you click  
on a Make PDF button or something similar? Many thanks for your  
help ... Val ;-)
